What is it?

KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine injection used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”

How Does it Work?

​

Kybella® (deoxycholic acid) is an injectable enzyme that permanently destroys the fat of the neck and makes it retract into a better position, as well. It is derived from the same enzyme your body uses to break down fat.

 

What is the process?

Each injection session is about 30 minutes in length and each session is 6 weeks apart.  Most patients need around 3 injection sessions.
